DO I HAVE TO BE 21 TO ATTEND THE NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY?
Yes, all guests must be 21 years of age or older on 12/31/18 to attend.
Do I need a ticket to get into Waterside District on New Year's Eve?
Yes, to get access to the venue you will need to purchase tickets. Visit the [Get Tickets] page to learn more on ticket package options and prices.
Is there confetti or ball drop at midnight?
Yes, the ball drop will be aired on our big screen inside The Market, plus another midnight surprise!
What kind of food will be available?
There will be complimentary food stations spread throughout Waterside District (available until 11PM).
Where can I park?
Parking is available at the Waterside District parking garage and other several city parking garages. The garage is adjacent to Waterside District at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Atlantic Avenue. Click here for more parking info from the City of Norfolk.
Will there be Valet Parking?
Yes, valet parking will be available and will cost $18 (cash only). Valet parking is located at Waterside Drive in front of Waterside District.
What is the dress code for the event?
It's New Year's Eve so dress to impress! We encourage business casual to formal attire.
Will there be a Coat Check?
Yes, coat check will be available and will cost $5 per item.
Will there be areas designated for the disabled?
Yes, please notify the door upon arrival and we will escort you in.
What hotels do you recommend?

Can I move around to different venues throughout the night?
All guests will be allowed to move freely in participating venues if the venue is not at capacity with limitations being designated VIP areas.
What does "subject to our responsible service policy" mean?
Meaning, if it at any point our staff feels as though you should no longer be served, we hold the right to refuse service.
