All ticket purchasers gain access to Waterside District’s New Year’s Eve party, access to multiple DJ entertainment on the main stage and throughout our 5+ venues, complimentary premium buffet stations, champagne toast at midnight, balloon drop, party favors and more! Please check your ticket type for specific details to what you receive with your NYE ticket. Those who purchase a Platinum Ticket for New Year’s will receive additional perks like complimentary coat check, access to an exclusive VIP area, heated outdoor patio, premium food offerings and more!
There is plenty to keep you entertained all night at Waterside District's NYE party! You may enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at any of our 10+ bars, snap shots with 360 and Live Gif photobooth options, rock out with No Go Romeo on the Market stage, grab a bite to eat from our premium food buffets (until 11 PM), ride the bull at PBR Norfolk, and hang out and have a great time with your friends as we celebrate 2023 and ring in 2024! Platinum ticket holders will also get to enjoy premium food options and live music from Justin Stanley, violinist.
Yes, to get access to Waterside District for NYE, you will need to purchase a ticket. Visit the Ticket Options page to purchase a Gold or Platinum NYE Live! Ticket Package. Don’t wait. NYE Live! Norfolk is likely to be a sold out event.
Yes, all guests must be 21 years of age or older on 12/31/22 to attend.
Nope! You are definitely not confined to one area. We encourage you to move around and enjoy all of our venues at Waterside District during our New Year’s Eve party! Waterside District is free-flowing, you and your guests are welcome to walk throughout the entire District to enjoy your time anywhere inside the venues including Blue Moon TapHouse, Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse, PBR Norfolk, Rocky Mountain Grill, The Market, and Stripers Waterside.
Yes, the balloon drop will be in the market and a nationwide ball drop will be on our big 25' TV screen inside.
You betcha! There will be complimentary food stations spread throughout Waterside District.
There will be a separate entrance for Gold Level and Platinum Level ticket holders. If you purchased a Gold ticket, you will enter through the main doors underneath The Market sign on Waterside Drive. If you went VIP and got a Platinum ticket, you will have your own separate entrance located on the side closest to the Blue Moon TapHouse with an exterior elevator and stair access to Waterside District.

You can find available parking on the street or one of the available city parking garages. The closest parking garage is the Waterside District garage, adjacent to the party at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Atlantic Avenue. Yes, coat check will be available for Gold ticket purchasers for a fee of $5 per item. If you purchase a Platinum ticket, coat check is included free of charge.
