Do I have to be 21 to attend the New Year’s Eve party?

Yes, all guests must be 21 years of age or older on 12/31/17 to attend.

Do I need to have a ticket to get into KC Live! on New Year’s Eve?

Yes, to get access to the party you will need to purchase tickets. Visit the Get Tickets page to learn more on ticket package options and prices.

Can I move around to different venues throughout the night?

Yes. One of the highlights of NYE Live! is you can celebrate in up to 12 participating bars and nightclubs. Based on your ticket level (silver, gold, platinum), you will be able to move freely from venue-to-venue and throughout the KC Live! Block. Limitations may include designated VIP areas within a venue or if a venue reaches capacity. Visit the “Get Tickets” page to learn more about participating venues and ticket package options and prices.

What is included in all inclusive tickets?

All inclusive includes: drafts, call liquors, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks (excludes energy drinks, shots, rocks and neat pours).

What is the dress code for the event?

It's New Year's Eve so dress to impress! We encourage business casual to formal attire. Please note that Kansas City Live! does have a code of conduct that all guests need to abide by. You can reference the code of conduct here.

What does "subject to our responsible service policy" mean?

Meaning, if it at any point our staff feels as though you should no longer be served, we hold the right to refuse service.

What hotels do you recommend?

We partner with several hotels in the area. check out our Hotels & Transportation page for more information on rates and packages.

Where can I park?

We recommend partygoers park in the KC Live! Garage, located in the Kansas City Power & Light District. Parking for partygoers is just $10 (cash, pay as you enter). Overnight parking is just $18.

Will there by valet parking?

Yes, valet parking will be available for a fee at 14th St. and Walnut St. in the Power & Light District.

Are there local restaurants you recommend for dinner beforehand?

Please refer to our Preferred Dining page for recommended restaurants in the area and how to make a reservation 

Is there confetti or ball drop at midnight?

Both!

Will there be a coat check?

A coat check is available on the first floor of KC Live! behind the elevator in-between Leinenkugel's and Johnny's Tavern. The coat check is $5 per coat (cash only!).

Will there be areas designated for the disabled?

Yes, please notify the door upon arrival and we will escort you in.

Is there a ticket option for designated drivers?

There is a ticket for designated drivers that is only available on site the night of the party. It is $50 and includes access to all participating venues along with a midnight food voucher and non-alcoholic drinks (energy drinks are not included)
